Terms and conditions for the SLALAS Art Competition

Art should be done related to the Lab Animal Science field.

Submissions can be made under 3 categories

• A/L students
• Undergraduates
• Open category

The art size should be the size of an A4 sheet.

Any medium is accepted: pencil, crayon, watercolor, etc. Photographs and computer-generated art is not accepted.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

The top five will be selected for each category from first-round participants.

The top five should participate in the final round.

The final round will be an onsite physical session; competitors should finish the drawing within 2 hours.

All competitors will get the same topic for the final round.

Winners will be selected for each category from the final round, and they will obtain the following.

1. The winner will be received a “Winner Certificate for SLALAS Art Competition.”
2. Winners’ drawings will display on the homepage of SLALAS web for one year.
3. Winners’ drawings will include in the SLALAS Newsletter.
4. The winner will receive free participation in the SLALAS Annual Scientific Session and International Conference
5. The winner’s drawing will display at the SLALAS Annual Scientific Session and International Conference

All participants will be received a Certificate of Participation.

First Round Art should be submitted to Dr. Hasanthi Rathnadiwakara, Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, on or before April 30, 2023, along with the application form.

All Submissions will only be accepted on 30^th April 2023, until 5 p.m. Late entries will not be accepted.
