Rules and Regulations

Theme: Speak for the unspoken

  • The poster should be based on Laboratory animal models in research
  • The poster should be self-contained, which means the reader should be able to comprehend it. It should be clearly understood.
  • Should include the title, Author’s name, affiliation, and message (word limit is 100)
  • Submission guidelines: Submissions can be made under 2 categories
    • Handmade posters
    • e-posters
  • General guidelines for handmade posters:
  • The size should be 36″ x 48″
  • Title: should be short and attractive.
  • Content: the content can be segmented into sub-topics. You may use simple and short sentences.
  • Figures/plates should be clearly visible
  • Please avoid plagiarism when using figures/text.
  • Hand-made posters should be submitted to Dr. Hasanthi Rathnadiwakara, Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, and University of Colombo on or before May 08, 2023.
  • E- posters designs can be sent to slalasci@gmail.com with the application form on or before May 08, 2023.
  • The selected BEST FIVE  posters will be displayed at the annual scientific conference of SLALAS, in January 2024.
  • The winners of the selected BEST THREE posters could be invited to the annual scientific session of SLALAS in 2024, for FREE OF CHARGE!
  • All participants will be received an e-certificate for participation.
  • The decision of the SLALAS Executive Committee will be the final decision.
